M&M Academy High School :
M&M Academy high school is a four-year muslim highschool established on 2011 with the first senior graduating in spring 2014. The highschool classes are course based with an average student to teacher ratio of 10:1. The low student teacher ratio allows our educators to individually support each student.
High School Curriculum:
The academic program is organized on a traditional schedule of five to six
50-minute classes per course. Courses are yearlong and are broken into 2 semesters with 2 quarters per semester.
School students must take a midterm exam and a cumulative final exam in each course in addition to a research graduation paper for the senior class.
Each course’s cumulative final exam spans the knowledge gained over the entire year. This policy was implemented to help prepare students for the rigors of college’s cumulative final exams.
Graduation Requirements - Graduating Class of 2021 and beyond:
Effective with the Graduating Class of 2021 (entering freshman of Fall 2017), graduation requirements to earn a M&M Academy High School diploma are as follows.
Graduation Research Papers:
No matter what field of study the student is interested in, he/she will most likely be asked to write a research paper during his/her academic career. Knowing how to write a good research paper is a valuable skill that will serve our students well throughout their career.
In M&M Academy we train senior students to develop a research paper from a folder of brainstormed notes to a polished final draft. A training that will give them a flavor of such in college.
With the right guidance from our educators, M&M High School students continue to surprise with the quality of work, amount of effort, and organization they exhibit.
